CODATU signs agreements with Egis and Sciences Po Rennes
CODATU’s fundamental strength lies in its unique network of members. Over the last 3 years, the Association has undertaken to strengthen its links with its members. In particular, this has involved signing partnership agreements.
On Wednesday 24 January 2024, at the CODATU New Year’s Ceremony, François DUROVRAY, President of CODATU, signed partnership agreements with Olivier BOUVART, Director of Development at Egis and Pablo DIAZ, Director General of Sciences Po Rennes.
Egis, a long-standing member of CODATU and a leading international player in engineering, construction and mobility services, has already worked with CODATU on a range of issues, including Masters in Africa and methodological innovation to devise mobility plans tailored to medium-sized towns in the South. This agreement will enable us to go much further, in terms of setting up joint projects and making expertise available.
As for Sciences Po Rennes, an institute that is one of France’s top schools, we wish to continue our collaboration, through this agreement, particularly in the context of the ISUR Master’s degree (“Engineering of Networked Urban Services in Developing Cities”), which trains young professionals in the challenges of global urbanisation, particularly in the South, on the issues of water, sanitation, mobility, energy and solid waste services. The main areas of collaboration are as follows: CODATU’s annual participation in the ISUR Master’s programme, information sharing in the context of student research and work, promotion of student work, relaying of internship advertisements and job offers, collaboration on ad hoc events.
The CODATU team is very pleased with these strengthened partnerships and would like to thank Leonard for welcoming us to its premises for this event.
