Goals
To explore a BRT network that has been in service for several years, to get feedback from local authorities on the implementation of the project, the contractual arrangements with operators, the monitoring of operations and the integration of paratransit, with particular reference to professionalisation and the establishment of a negotiation process. An underlying aim of the study visit was also to understand how to encourage interaction between teaching and research institutions and local authorities.
