French Minister of Transports Elisabeth Borne will participate in the UMI-CODATU XVII Conference
The UMI-CODATU XVII Conference will take place in less than a month in Hyderabad, India, and the list of participants is beeing confirmed, with important guests. Among them, we are honnored to count Elisabeth Borne, Minister to the French Government State Ministry, Minister of Ecology and Solidarity Transition, in charge of transports, who has also been Director of Strategy for SNCF from 2002 to 2007, as well as CEO of RATP since 2015.
Alain Juppé, former Prime Minister (1995-1997), former Minister of Ecology, Minister of Defence, and Minister of Foreign Affairs (2007-2012), as well as Mayor of Bordeaux since 1995, will be also present.
The Eurometropolitan Representative Counsellor, Jean-Baptiste Gernet, also Counsellor of the city of Strasbourg, France, in charge of active modes and new mobility practices, as well as Deputy Mayor of Strasbourg, in charge – among others – of alternative mobility (others than cars and collective transport), and of the share of mobility modes into the public projects of road construction and public spaces planning, will also be in Hyderabad.
Technical visits and side events planned into the Conference program
On November 7th, technical visits will be organized on the morning, with a visit of the metro network run by Keolis, starting from Nagole station.

For countries which are not elibigle for e-business visa, you can apply for a « Conference » visa through the VFS services. A « Conference » visa is valid for 3 months and is issued within 4 to 10 days (depending on the application process: submission at a VFS office in Paris, Lyon, Strasbourg, Marseille, Bordeaux or by post).
