A Pakistani delegation on a study visit to Paris

Visit to Paris by the Minister of Transport and Mass Transit of the Province of Punjab (Pakistan) and the Director of the Ministry’s Transport Planning Unit. Punjab is Pakistan’s most dynamic province, contributing more than half of the national GDP.

CODATU assisted the Economic Department of the French Embassy in Pakistan in organising a number of meetings. The delegation was able to meet with Île-de-France Mobilités and visit the RATP electric bus depot on rue de Lagny. A meeting open to companies was also co-organised with MEDEF International. The topics covered were the planning, operation and management of urban rail transport systems, and the deployment of electric bus fleets.
