CODATU XIII – 2008 – Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam): challenges and solutions for a sustainable development

The Thirteenth CODATU conference of Urban Transport (CODATU XIII) took place in Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) from 12th to 14th of November. The following theme was chosen by the Permanent Scientific and Technical Committee: “Challenges and solutions for a sustainable development”. Institutional aspects of sustainable development, as well as choice of investment, intermodal integration, urban mobility, and technical and environmental issues were discussed during this conference. More than 30 countries participated.

A training session for young transport professionals was also organized by Ali HUZAYYIN, first vice president of CODATU, two days before the conference. Forty people attended it.
