International Conference on “Safety and quality of public transport services” – Rostov-on-Don [Russia] – 30th June – 1st July 2016
The
Scientific and Research Institute of Motor Transport (NIIAT) in co-operation with the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation and International Transport Forum, organized an International Conference on:
“Safety and quality of public transport services: methods of standardization and the use of quality standards in organization of passenger transportation by road and urban surface electric transport”
in Rostov-on-Don (Russia), from June 30th to July 1st 2016
Bernard Rivalta, Former President of SYTRAL (Lyon Transport Authority) and Vice President of CODATU and Michel Gallet, Expert in Public Transport with many experiences on public transport contract management in France and abroad participated to the event. The conference was organized in 3 sessions:
- Session 1: “Condition, trends and problems of passenger road and urban electric transportation market development in the Russian Federation and other countries: the influence of reforms on safety and quality of public service”;
- Session 2: “Best foreign and domestic practice of passenger transportation market regulation: how to combine “freedom of enterprise” concept and “safety and quality of service requirements”;
- What’s new in Public transport Customer Relationship Management (CRM) ? From legacy of the past to a stunning future – Mr. Michel Galler, expert in Public Transport, consulting engineer, sociologist, manager of consultancies;
- Session 3: “Safety and quality of transport services as an integrated criterion of public transport service by road and urban electric transport”.
