MYC reviewed its progression during a steering committee last November
On 27 November 2017, the Steering Committee of the MobiliseYourCity initiative (MYC) was held at the Roquelaure Hotel in the premises of the Ministry of Ecological and Solidarity Transition (MTES). The
event brought together the representatives of MTES, the European Commission, the German Federal Ministry of the Environment, AFD and GIZ with the MYC and CODATU teams. The diplomatic advisor of the French Minister of Transport, Elisabeth Borne, was present, notably alongside Jean-Jacques Helluin, CODATU’s director, and took the opportunity to congratulate the initiative for its development, and its growing reputation with transport and climate stakeholders.
The committee reviewed the activities carried out in 2017 and noted some very positive points, notably the growing interest of cities wishing to join the initiative, including Quito, which joined MYC as a beneficiary in 2017.
Agenda 2018 was presented, and the committee set new directions for the program for the new year.
