Presentation of the ‘Zotra Fitaratra’ project to stakeholders in the sector

On Tuesday 12 November, CODATU Madagascar joined the Ministry of Transport and Meteorology at a meeting with Madagascan car dealers, banks and cooperative unions to present the Zotra Fitaratra project to modernise the taxi industry, and in particular to discuss the economic model for the ‘demonstrative’ Iarivo bypass bus line.

The Minister of Transport, who chaired the meeting, stressed the importance of this project for Madagascar and the need for all stakeholders to work together to ensure its successful launch. He invited the participants to come up with the best possible offers to help transport operators acquire the new equipment.
