Cerema (Centre d’études et d’expertise sur les risques, l’environnement, la mobilité et l’aménagement), a public administrative establishment of the State, brings together 3,000 experts and agents and comprises 11 technical and regional directorates that cover the whole of France. A centre of resources and interdisciplinary scientific and technical expertise, its actions promote sustainable development of territories and a low-carbon economy. Its main themes concern public spaces and their development, mobility and transport infrastructures, the environment, energy efficiency, risk management and the environmental well-being of the population.
As such, Cerema deploys a large part of its activities on the issues of mobility, transport services and travel and goods policies, in France but also in Europe and internationally towards developed, transition and developing countries.
