French Global Environment Facility (FFEM)

For 20 years, the French Global Environment Facility (“FFEM”) has been a public fund designed to promote the protection of the global environment in developing countries. The FFEM contributes to the financing of development projects that have a significant and sustainable impact on one or more of the major challenges facing the global environment: biodiversity, climate change, international waters, land degradation including desertification and deforestation, persistent organic pollutants and the ozone layer.
